Zachary W. Williams is a founding partner of Cauthen Forbes & Williams. Before beginning the new firm, Mr. Williams was the Managing Director of Cauthen and Associates in Washington, D.C. At Cauthen and Associates, Zachary was responsible for coordinating client needs with various state and national issues. Mr. Williams’ work focused on tax and finance where he constructed legislative strategies for various corporate clients and executed successful lobbying efforts on their behalf before the U.S. Senate. In addition, Mr. Williams represented several universities and municipalities before the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives Appropriations Committees, successfully securing millions of dollars in federal funding for his clients. Beyond his appropriations experience, Zachary has expertise in the area of healthcare and represented several clients on issues concerning Medicare and Medicaid.
Politically Mr. Williams worked with the Democratic National Committee coordinating logistics for event credentials at the 2000 and 2004 Democratic National Party Convention and participated in grassroots campaign efforts in Pennsylvania for Gore Lieberman 2000. Prior to working for Cauthen and Associates, Mr. Williams served as Special Assistant to the Chairman of the Alabama Democratic Party in the 1996 statewide coordinated campaign.
Zachary W. Williams is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi where he received his bachelors degree in Political Science and Foreign Languages. Zach also studied business law at the L’Ecole Supérieure du Commerce Extérieur in Paris, France. Mr. Williams is married to Abby Morrow Richardson and is a native of Mobile, Alabama.
